Requirements
- BS (MS preferred) in Civil Engineering with a focus in structural and geotechnical engineering,
 - Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. The ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines is essential,
 - 0-5 Years of experience,
 - Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and priorities,
 - Willingness to work in the field and travel, including to other Brierley offices and projects sites, for short-term assignments, and
 - Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
 
Responsibilities include:
- Design of foundations, support-of-excavation, falsework, tunnels, underground structures and many other types of permanent and temporary structures,
 - Evaluation and selection of geotechnical and loading design parameters,
 - Development of concepts and preparation of sketches based on provided information and constraints,
 - Analysis and design of steel, reinforced concrete, and wood structures using relevant building codes,
 - Prepare design calculations, reports and supervise creation of CAD/BIM drawings,
 - Assist in development of design budgets and schedules and effectively manage time and effort to maintain budgets and schedules,
 - Construction site visits to gather information or observe ongoing work, and
 - Representing the Company in professional, technical, and business organizations.
