TUNNEL, GEO-STRUCTURAL DESIGN AND TRENCHLESS ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY
Brierley Associates is seeking a geo-structural engineer to join our Hawaii operations. Preferred candidates would include civil/structural engineers with local experience in specific structural and/or geotechnical work, and existing experience compatible with the delivery of design work for large diameter tunnels and shafts in soft ground and rock; geo-structural design for heavy civil work such as excavation support, deep foundations, heavy lifts, falsework and custom formwork; and design/construction of HDD and microtunneling operations. Candidates should possess a HI PE license (SE preferred), BS (MS preferred) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geological Engineering, or closely related engineering field, demonstrated design and construction experience, and entrepreneurial motivation to succeed and ultimately help lead the office.
Responsibilities include development and execution of new projects; project management; client management; representing the Company in professional, technical, and business organizations; and providing technical assistance to other Brierley Associates offices. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and based upon individual and Company performance.
